This area was first made famous for its stretch of beachfront luxury resorts however there has been a recent growth of new luxury condo developments. It is considered one of the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods in Puerto Vallarta, with white-sand beaches, gourmet restaurants and café’s, luxury shopping malls, high-end spas, movie theaters, and much more. It also has some of the biggest resorts in Puerto Vallarta.
The Hotel Zone is about ten minutes from downtown Vallarta and has easy access to public transportation. This area is perfect for those who want to enjoy the modern amenities of a cosmopolitan city and a neighborhood of beautiful beaches.

Just north is Marina Vallarta, a neighborhood of luxury high rise condos and gated communities. To the south is the romantic area of Old Town, and to the east of the Hotel Zone are the residential neighborhoods of Fluvial, Versalles, and Las Gaviotas.
